Somewhere Along the Line
Somewhere along the line,
On the railroad called life,
I had derailed my own train...
Before reaching Happiness Station...
Just as it loomed ahead,
I chose another track instead...
I guess I was insane,
My actions on that train...
Seemed to me at the time,
The train was out of control...
The powerful engine of love...
From me, my self-identity,
It had somehow stole
From that point on,
My travels were hard and
full of pain,
Seemed everyday I
was greeted,
With painful snow or rain...
So don't fear success.
This I beg you,
Don't think love
will make you weak...
And grab hold
of that great emotion
You've nothing more
important to seek,
Even if you sailed through
every mighty ocean.
