Somewhat Lonely

Soaring in the sky
We were all up & about
Our faith slowly died

You were in the dark
You're actin' somewhat shady
Shadows in hiding

I was in the light
You've been lonely, I can tell
Abode abiding

You are actin' strange
You look like you've seen a ghost
About time we change

Took wing from on high
I was so under your spell
We flew together

We were in the cage
We rose from our past ashes
Felt glad after rage

Felt complete - the norm
Been keeping warm without you
Need a cuddle pal!

My sweet fam'ly - pets
So what if I have issues?
Priceless companions!
