Sometimes Lost

Seem I'll walk this road alone

             the time of never looming forever. shivers filter thru my bones,

                             yearning to be soothed by hushed tones.

                                Once happy, now shrouded in 
                                        
                                               misery

                          pondering my mental stockpile of uncertainty
                                                                     

                                       half smiles strapped in pain,

  choked up feelings of past privileges hoping to regain. tethered by unseen chains.


                       The soul feeling scarred, suppress , and under duress

     How......oh.... how do I break free from this sadness that envelopes me?

   Cascading down a mound of despair wishing this sadness will disappear,

                           relieving me of my desolations and fear

                      Where....oh....where is my guardian angel out there.

Lora Robinson May 17, 2015 at 4:49 PM I seldom enjoy rhyming poetry, but yours is so sell constructed and there wasn't this pervasive overtone that called attention to the rhyme. Very well done!
