Sometimes It Don'T

Well I've been cast down
But I'm not afraid
I been thrown out
Of some of your best places
And I've been walking down this road for such a long time
And I've been carrying this load and going out of my mind
But I'm still here I'm still alive
Just a little late
Not running quite on time
But I'm standing strong
Suppose it might be time to just move on along

And you can pour your heart out
And give everything you've got and still be alone
And sometimes it hurts, and sometimes it don't
And I've said goodbye
So many times, it don't mean anything at all
And sometimes it hurts
And sometimes it don't

Sometimes I'm troubled
By all this cussing and a fighting, it's gotten out of hand
The things some men will die for
I just don't understand
And I've been cut
Down to the bone
The ones I trusted most
Left me all alone
So I'm moving on
If I could only dream again
Would I still get it wrong?

And you can pour your heart out
And give everything you've got and still be alone
And sometimes it hurts, and sometimes it don't
And I've said goodbye
So many times, it don't mean anything at all
And sometimes it hurts
And sometimes it don't
