Sometimes

Sometimes
It's hard to appreciate
What we have
Instead
Of always thinking
Of what we don't have
Sometimes
It's hard to notice those who love us
When all we notice
Is those who never truly did
Sometimes
It's easier to give loyalty
To people who don't deserve it
Instead
Of giving it to people
Who were always there
Sometimes
It's easier to place blame on everyone else
Rather than taking the blame
Ourselves
Sometimes it's so easy to cry
And look for reasons
Not to smile
Instead
Of searching for reasons to be happy
And not be sad
Sometimes
Life is difficult
But 
Sometimes
We have to push through
And be strong
