Something Wrong In the House On the Corner
He walked past the gate which led to the door to the cellar
Remember, remember, remember!
The bird call cried to shatter the still quiet with high pitched thunder
Raindrops fell to create a slither of water
Remember, remember, remember!
The path glistened in the sun under falling water
The bare feet splashed that path as she was pulled down and driven under
Remember, remember, remember!
In the dead of night the walls of that room cry and shudder
Somethings now dead haunt the dark of that cellar
The barn owl avoids the route through the pane-less, broken window
A moonlight silhouette of girls lined up in the cellar
Remember, remember, remember!
A boy he was, not past 8 when he saw something wrong in the house on the corner!
Like a cat curiosity drew him over
From what he saw he will never recover!
Remember, remember, remember.
