Something To Say

Something To Say

I’ve been meaning to tell you this,
For quite a long time.
But words with this type of meaning,
Are so difficult to find.
So let me say it now,
Before I lose my nerve.
And to the emotional side,
I drastically take a curve.
Please don’t take me as bold,
For speaking of my mind.
Only truth and honesty,
From my lips you will find.
So here are my feelings,
Hot off my lips.
Raw and emotional,
As I let it rip.
…
Get off my feet
…
Dancing round in circles,
Sure does hurt the toes.
Especially when their stood on,
Everybody knows.
So do me favor,
O’ please, o’ please, o’ please,
Stay off my feet,
And stop knocking on my knees.
