Something To Complain

If everything was running smooth
Dancing in the rain
All the music was in tune
Not a day that's late
Every track ahead was clear
For this North bound train
The big to do of me and you
Would still find something to complain

With the color both sides the street
The darkest shade of green
Good times never out of sight
The sunny side each day we'd greet
Or at the market food department
Giving free magic beans
You'd look at me and we'd both agree
There'd be something to complain

If we were told the icings gold
On every birthday cake
The weather here this time of year
Is like standing in the shade
And down on every corner
They're giving dollar bills away
The spot we're at we would sit
And find something to complain

If every test flying colors passed
Always with an A
Knowing well but would never tell
Didn't study much that day
And all along what could go wrong
Never got the blame
Through all of it not one thought to quit
But still finding something to complain
