Something There
I was not alone when you walked by
But, I just had to return your smile
My friend asked, "What was that all about?"
I didn't know until I thought a while
"Was there something there?", I was asked
I felt a feeling that began to spread
Something in the air felt so nice
"Yes, there was something there.", I said
Before I fell and before it was love
I should have known from the start
I couldn't put it into words but
The something there was my heart
