Something New
This timid man Mr. Brown
lived in a small town,
except for noontime beer
nothing else did he care.
After ten long years
he got bored with beers
because for a real booze
he didn’t have much to choose.
So one sunny Sunday
he went to the city not far away,
and searched a bar
in a dark alley corner.
The barman asked “what would you have?”
He timidly said “give something strong, I’m brave”.
“You try the brown Old Monk*,
with one shot it’d make your head honk”.
If monks shoot drinks Mr. Brown had no clue
but he said “yes, I’d try something new”.
The glass of rum shot two pegs in his head,
Mr. Brown forgot what the barman had said.
