Something Must Change
Something has to change, even if it is something I must GIVE!
Anything and everything will I sacrifice, including this life I LIVE!
It is needed to prepare a better life, for the life of my KIDS.
Trying to detour them away from the things that you DID
Trying to help them through the trials and tribulations, they try to keep HID.
Something must change, even if it is something I must GIVE!
Why must I have to give change for CHANGE?
Why can’t people just change for change ITSELF?
Why must everything involve personal WEALTH?
People are quick to go digging through other’s CLOSETS.
Instead of cleaning off there own SHELFS.
Something has to change, even if it is something I must GIVE!
I’ve seen many RACES,
I have looked upon many FACES.
Things that has left it’s footprints as MEMORIES.
Others have left no TRACES.
I’ve seen many people fall short of the GLORY.
I’ve seen many people lives be read as STORIES.
Something has to change, even if it is something I must GIVE!
It troubles my HEART.
That this behavior has actually been in existence from the very START!
Yes, it is true there were evil DEEDS.
From the days of Adam and EVE,
there were sins committed, before there was a “Good and Evil TREE”.
Something has to change even if it is something I must GIVE!
Because all of this wrong, can be no where near RIGHT!
I must have made a wrong turn, because no one else can turn RIGHT!
Total damnation, is the only thing I see in their SIGHT.
I guess it is all on me, it is all my fault, RIGHT!
Smothered by total darkness, I can’t even see any LIGHT.
Something has to change even if it is something I must GIVE!
If someone doesn’t stand, then everyone will FALL!
I guess I must be the one to save ALL.
I closed my eyes, decided to give my father a CALL!
Then he replied, “Something has to change even it is something U must GIVE!
I hope you are willing to pay a SACRIFICE!
After searching the entire world for one, your life will SUFFICE!
