Something Is Wrong
Something is wrong, nothing is right,
Everything’s turned upside down,
My hands and mind don’t talk to each other,
Here, empty, within and without,
And it must be my fault, my wandering mood,
“Stumble, fall, get up, lose the dream”,
Or is it a ghost of a forgotten wish,
Am I searching a blank thought in between?
You see, all that I hold, all I admire,
All I create from the dust,
Ultimately crumbles away to nothing,
Crumbles once my fingers have touched,
And the path that I sail leads to nowhere,
A series of short crooked broken lines,
And I guess the best way to make everything fit,
Is to forever gently close both my eyes.
