Something Higher

If you think there's something higher than
you
Then you may just serve some purpose ,
But if a slave has chains that are broken
in two
There may be links below the surface....
Like the magic trick makes the hat or the
rabbit
Seem to somehow come to existence ,
It's the slight of hand second nature to
habit
That will hide the act as you've missed it
...
So with a little hope you go pray to a pope
Or just some preacher holding his bible,
Who can't even cope with what he will
invoke
Because the teacher will make him as
liable...
Till his just remains lay just 6 feet below
With a stone encasing his pulpit,
On a ball and chain with his spirit in tow
All alone embracing this culprit...
So just maybe who we have known as God
And everything that he's inspired,
Is so much more than our deaths facade
But the truth of our life's entire...
