Something Good
Something good returns to me
I taste it in the air
It brushes near upon me
In golden light so fair
As I, a waking glory
embrace the life so near
Now waking in a vision
One -to the heart- so dear
Come light upon me swiftly
And sing the sacred tune
Come break the holy darkness
In shining full, oh moon
But the heart of all remains
In what remain it holds
May the eyes of darkened hope
Shine the purest gold
Through a crystal, now I see
Unto the morning light
May the eyes find what is true
And therein find delight
As shallow as the greatest depths
I've been here before
The heart yet bears a silent pain
But no more, no more
