Like the flicker of a fire
Makes you want to stare
Fills you with desire
No need to turn the heat
For you to feel her warmth

Makes you come in from the cold

That keeps your heart afloat
When the world around you
Is a sinking boat
She is the island paradise
On the raging sea you're in
There's something 'bout a woman
That's perfect for a man
There's something 'bout a woman
Makes you want to hum along
To the beauty of her melody
To the best of her in song
The joy that's in her sound
The drowning of applause
There's something 'bout a woman
Where all she is, is all you want
