Someone's Melody
The words may seem strange
the flow of rhythm and rhyme odd,
an unfamiliar dispersal of song or hymn,
a cacophony of reverberating sounds
cast upon the radio waves
wringing in the atmospheric discharge.
the momentary rendition of some heart
singing loud in the distance
longing to be heard and understood,
castrated by the silence of ignorance
lost in the want and needs of time
recorded in the forever
of someone's melody.
