Someone Told Me

Someone told me 
Love takes a lifetime to build
Yearning in your soul to be fulfilled 

So wait with me 
And try your best
To wait and see
This treasure chest
Thats filled with riches 
To be unfurled

And thrown into this open ocean
Then we'll search 
The ocean floor 
To find in time 
There's something more 
Than what is first seen 

So search with me
From East to West
We'll search to be 
Our very best 
We'll be filled with riches 
And we'll be filled with pearls 
When we become a treasure chest 
To throw into the world

And we'll join our souls together
For a better cause 
To make each other better 
And to ignore each other's flaws 
To help someone who need our help 
To help the world and how it was 

And someone told me 
The city will take time to rebuild 
So I'll sit and stay and help the cause 
So my dreams will be fulfilled
