Someone Said Hello Today

Someone said hello today
She had the warmest smile
And kindest heart
She was handing out hellos 
As if bouquets of pretty flowers
Free just like that
A warm sincere hello
So beautiful untethered
Had me wondering
If she wasn’t just
An angel in disguise

Andrea Dietrich April 19, 2018 at 6:44 PM People have very different tastes of what is their best. The one you found bronze of mine today, for me it's in my top 10% of my poetry! But I appreciate the win, anyway. Feeling kind of blue today after an unfair comment someone gave me (along with his N/A to me). I will just do a bit more here and go jump on my trampoline with some Netflix. Oh, and I am glad you finally saw the Moves like Jagger video. I just love that.
