Someone I Can Fall Inlove With

you seriously saved me
in a new place
apprehensions kept me from speaking
tongue tied with fear of embarrassment
kept me from making friends
meeting new people
my stomach ties into knots
my head swirls
every things new
unfamiliar and strange
I miss my family
I need my friends
alone and lost
in a new world of mystery and stress
and then you come
while I'm sitting alone
on a bench
in the rain
on my birthday
you came into my life
and made this place
a little more like a home
I finally feel like i have someone to rely on here
and to turn to when I'm feeling like the world is against me
and when I feel like I just can't win
I finally have someone I can fall in love with
