Someone For Me

Will there be someone for me
Who loves me with insanity?
Who wants me, entirely?
Who touches with intensity?

Will there be someone for me?

Will there be someone to kiss?
Who when gone, my kiss will miss?
Someone full of honesty…
Whose love is no travesty...

Will there be someone for me?

I want a love that’s wild and mad
The kind of love devoid of sad
The kind of love that’s, oh, so sweet
That “makes love” like a tasty treat
That eats up every part of me
And brings to life each fantasy…

Oh tell me, tell me what you see!
Will there be someone for me?

Within true love there is always a bit of sad, it allows the happy to be more appreciated.

Well, I am blessed to have a wonderful marriage and we have hit some of your high points but to tell you the truth . . . my golden retrievers, Duke and Zoe, answers all our questions with a big YES! Just saying . . .

Some people do experience what you have written. Reality is not always what we dream about but dreams are what makes reality bearable. Wish for you all the dreams to come true. Lovely write and I feel your wants. Hugs Edith

Perfection does not exist, but we can aspire to be drawn into its aura. Will there be someone for you the way you wish? No doubt...I am sure you already have had lots of satisfaction! Fortunately you can fill in missing pieces by simply picking up a pen....:) hugs // paul

We all want this Eileen.... I want to love and be loved..in the same way..It really isnt easy..But i think that s what makes love a treasure..Its rare and winding road to find it and then nourish it. Beautiful poem.

There is someone destin for your heart, a man who will worship the art of your passion, whom shall bolster the warmth of your body with touch brought from the truest obsession...idealist are artists of love and must learn to become heros of fortune...I like the oracle quality to this poem, the rhyme compliments beautifully the desire of your soul Eileen...J.A.B.

Mine are words of affirmation, and touch. The other 3 languages are quality time, gifts, and acts of service. Perhaps this is my real trouble...I interpret things according to MY love languages. That leads to trouble. What could be more beautiful than touch and words of affirmation? ANWAY, my dear...my time has come and gone...The kind of love of which you write...I wish it for my dearest daughter. Thanks for the lovely visit. Hugs

Ah....you always have the most beautiful words to say, Justin. Love goes through different phases, I guess...or else, there is no love like this. That is why we writers write....Utopian dreams...Then there is real life. Love has many languages....Gary Chapman has written a book entitled, The five languages of love....

Thanks, Dorian. Nice of you to visit. This kind of love is what movies and novels and poems are made of. ;) Then there is the real thing that has to do with responsibilities and commitments and sacrifice. Glad you found something to your liking.
