Someone Behind the Door

There is someone that knocks on my door every night,
when the darkness and the cold freeze my soul.
He does not say anything, just gives me his hug.
I try to see into his eyes but the weariness closes my eyes and my dreams
chase him away.

I will try many years to make him friend,
but he is my greatest Fear...
