Someone

Last year
There were someones
Many many someones
They changed a lot
But only six counted
At first, a someone
With curly hair
And eyes bluer than
The sky
Then, a someone
Who honestly
Shouldn’t count
Because that someone
Never counted me
Next, a someone
Who talked too much
But was a
Comedian in training
Then a someone
Who loved music
And made me feel important
Until the someone
Forgot me
And a someone
Who was a great
Partner
And had dark hair
Finally, a someone
Who was a friend
Until they became
A someone
They’re still a someone
And he always will be
