Someday

I know I 
Have a soul
But it's not mine... 
To give away

Our course is set 
The paths been paved
And our destiny awaits...

There's you and him
There's her and I  
We're 2 halves of the same soul
Just living a lie

And that's how I know
That our someday 
Still awaits

Someday
In some way
Our lives will be bound 
By that string of fate
Yeah someday
Yeah someday
Is waiting for us

It may seem like
A lifetime 
To both our 
Waiting arms 

Till the day when
We can make love
And be released from all of the scars

That our pasts hold
And we both know
Are just the reminders 
Of why we let go

And that's how I know
That our someday 
Still awaits...

Life has kept us 
From knowing
What true love
Really is

If my last day
On this earth
