Someday

Someday, someday
This someday is too far
It is reluctant to open its eye
Like snow falling each flack on top of each other
Burying the weeds and flowers refuse to rise above the blanket
My someday will come I know for sure
Someday the darkness will come to an end
Through and through past the dark
Then I will rise up from the sleep
Seeking the sweet salt of air in my lungs
The pouring of rain on my back
Someday the light will shine in me
Bathe me in its endless glow.
