Notes About The Poem

Someday

Someday

When I grow up,
I want to be... like my father.
He serves in the military,
and helps other people
around the world.
He fights for the innocent.
He lives in the Light.
He is a good man.
When I grow up.

When I grow up,
I want to be... like my mom.
She is a nurse at a hospital.
She helps people that are sick,
get better.
She is a warrior.
She is a soldier,
in the army of God.
When I grow up.

When I grow up,
I want to be...
everything that I can be,
so that my mom,
and my dad,
will be proud.
I want them to know
that they did a good job,
and gave me hard lessons,
that I learned from,
and still made me feel
loved and cared for.
When I grow up.
