Somebody
From the moment you were born:
Somebody loved you,
Somebody loved the ideal of you,
Somebody obsessed about you.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody welcomed you,
Somebody made you feel welcomed,
Somebody ignored you.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody held you tightly,
Somebody embraced your individuality,
Somebody pushed you away.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody saw you as a blessing,
Somebody showered blessings upon you,
Somebody cursed your existence.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody made you smile,
Somebody smiled at the mere thought of you,
Somebody cried because of you.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody praised your achievements,
Somebody encouraged you past failures,
Somebody celebrated your defeat.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody gave you strength,
Somebody instilled courage in you.
Somebody feared your success.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody laid you in their arms,
Somebody stood up for you,
Somebody walked away.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody taught you how to live,
Somebody challenged your best,
Somebody learned to manipulate you.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody was your motivation,
Somebody was proud of you,
Somebody mocked you.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody was your friend,
Somebody wanted to be just like you,
Somebody said you was not good enough.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody protected you,
Somebody healed you,
Somebody inflicted pain.
From the moment you were born:
Somebody saw something special in you,
Somebody gave you positive feelings,
Somebody stole your hope.
