Some Or the Other
Some will grow old
others will grow up
Some will make the time
others won't show up
Some will be rich
Others will have true wealth
Some will be sick
Others will have good health
Some will be selfish
others will be fair
Some will abuse
others will care
Some will be born
others will live
Some will never forget
others will forgive
Some will be happy when
Others begin to frown
Some will never lift you up
others will never let you down
Some will walk first
others will chose to crawl
Some will push you off the edge
Others will catch you if you fall
Some will only see the rain
Others see the colorful rainbow
Some will walk away
Others will never let go
Some will just speak
Others will act
Some are alone
Others come in packs
Some will cause pain
Others shed a tear
Some will be blind
Others see clear
We all have the choice every day
To be some or the other
To go or to stay
We choose with every word that we speak
With everything that we do
Will you be
The one who who gives up
Or the one who sees it through
You can be some or the other
Which one are you?
