Some One Behind the Door

The dim light in the hall way
Gave away signs of moving figures
Scared of facing reality
I turned my heart to the stars
Wishing badly that I was in mars

The vicious sounds of angry growling
Drew my heart back to earth
In the safety of my tiny room
I stood scared and insecure
Praying badly for daylight

What seemed like blood seemed
To be dripping from the weird figure!?
Or was it water?did it matter.....?!
I felt like screaming when my
Name echoed all around me

My imaginations took advantage
Of the situation at hand
Sending scary images into my mind
I crossed my fingers and prayed
Hard for daylight..somehow it
Looked like the clock wasn't ticking

As if watching a movie,I saw
My life crumble before me
Fear held me tightly and wouldn't
Let go!who's there?!I cried
Praying for a response

Just like a miracle,it all stopped
The figure wasn't there anymore
All of a sudden someone knocked
lightly on the door, who on earth
Could be knocking at this hour.
I stood still and wished for death.
