Some Little Flowers On Fancy Free
Like the sky-flowers in dense cloud
Raised by romantic sun in glee
Far away from the anchored crowd
The spirit seeks to be fancy free
Neither commitment nor confinement
Blue freedom in getting footloose
Ecstasy of sun-sprinkled moment
In cool pond the blue breasted goose
In the chromosomal red molecules
Instincts seeking to cut loose
For the aroma of coffee granules
In the poetry of life free to choose
No you are wrong says reality
The bird has to be in the cage
Putting the chain on fancy free
The super ego is on the stage
Fidelity or fancy free
The black and white controversy
Though there is many a shade
Diamond dew upon a grass blade
