Some Haiku Silliness

Looked outside and a Lavender rhinoceros Was staring at me Some call me loopy That's a compliment to me Silly people rock Every time I sneeze I piddle in me trousers And poop my knickers I dress like a bum Cause I don't care anymore I'm retired now Hugging can lead to Something other than friendship An enlarged belly Men shouldn't ever Go naked in the winter Stuff just might fall off What does a Scottie Wear under his tartan kilt Small bits of haggis © Jack Ellison 2013

I'm shocked you broke your quatrain streak. How does it feel to break free from the norm? I admit the parts about "stuff falling off" in the winter frightens me a bit, haha! You do realize that knickers is means panties, right? I have a difficult time imagining you in panties...

If silly people rock... We must be rock stars... My Dragon agrees... He says he stays cause he's never bored with us around!... (I think he has it backwards... He's the one giving the comic relief...) But don't tell him I said so... Heaven knows what he'd do then... Ps. I'm learning all this from you... you know...

Aren't all Rhinoceros's lavender, ha ha? Oh you ticked my funny bone with this clever write my friend! I also think that men shouldn't go naked in the winter, it would be awfully cold for certain areas of the body...ouch! I never thought about what an Irishman wears under his tartan...maybe nothing! I loved your delightful poem here my friend! Very wonderful piece, Great Work!!
