Some Days

Some days I'm rough and broken down
Some days I stay in prayer with my knees to the ground
Some days I don't know who I am or what I want to be
Often I am afraid of the path laid out before me
But I always seem to make it through
I owe it all to each and everyone of you
Well Mom, you weren't always right but you made me strong
Dad, I know you couldn't always be here but you laid the foundation of right and
wrong
And baby you carry me when the road gets rough
My trials and tribulations have made me tough
The pictures on the wall show three beautiful daughters and a blue eyed boy
The smile on thier faces is a mother's joy
I steadily learn from the past I sometimes regret
I grow more each day and Im not done yet
I swear I'll get there someday
