Solus, My Shadow Friends

He of the Flame withholds his blade
Liquid gold disks drip down from the tip
In total there was six
The earth was pregnant with a brand new soul
Two of the disks the mother stole
And gave them to her new child as eyes
He carried them with him through each life
He shines radiant beneath the light
A beauty in the shadows
Like a painting
Fades into the night
Forever known
Solus
