SOLOGOMY
singleness took the lonely road
she’s gathering snow white roses
and dyed her flesh vanilla cream
she invites chocolate-dipped berries
and decorates with dove-white tablecloths
she wears a sparkling diamond
almost too heavy for this curious broad
all alone all alone all alone
the six inch heels click
she smiles
she wanted it this way, her way
a white wedding for one
she’s worked on her heyday for so long
took her time, no hurry, she was in no rush
she has no need to blush nor powder
all alone all alone all alone
the six inch heels click
she smiles
she says i do to herself
after proclaiming she is worth it
she blows a kiss into the full size mirror
note to self to rub the red off and shine
all alone all alone all alone
the six inch heels click
she smiles
a good looking guy stands nearby
scratches his head
moves on

A dream come true? Marrying yourself? We have too much time
on our hands!
