Solitude

Through morning fog,
and mountain air,
a path less traveled
takes me there…
With new found strength,
where once was none,
as I climb high,
so does the sun.
In this secret, quiet,
hidden spot,
time reveals
what’s important...
- and what is not.
It doesn’t matter
what you’ve bought,
but it matters
what you’ve built.
If you make your
presence noticed,
then your absence
will be felt…

Cool piece. I know how important my solitude is to me, so I identified with what you are saying. Good job and kudos! (I'm also happy to see a new fellow "Rhymer" join our fold) :)

Thanks for the praise. Poems that don't rhyme are lost on me.....
