Solitude

I sit alone in my crowded room of thought
nothing but blurred images of past and present to keep me company
in a spiders web I am caught
I am nothing but my own enemy.

Living in a world of love and lies
I can't escape the pain I feel
deep inside it's my heart that cries
a moments happiness dare I steal.
