You've reached someone, a number of whose family members did not survive Dachau, Auschwitz, Buchenwald -- but who has met (literally) hundreds of survivors here in nearby Skokie, IL -- 10% of whose 75,000 residents were survivors back in the 1970's -- and in Israel. Something special there, for sure. Thank you, Gershon

My heart hurts for your loss and aches that survivors had this horrific experience! I have never personally met any and feel privileged to know you carry on the legacy and are part of the powerful voice of perseverance. Thank you for adding validity to my poem. I watched many documentaries and have the upmost respect. Hugs K
