Soldiers Roar

I am man hear me roar Sent by cowards out to war While they sit high at the top As I watch my brothers drop I am man hear me roar I stand here as bullets soar A true soldier down to the core Shedding blood for my country My home a distant memory I am man hear me roar As I fight this war in Nam For the sake of uncle Sam I come home a broken man From the things that I have seen Watching all my brothers bleed I am man hear me roar Waking up in these cold sweats Things I've seen that I regret Baby killer you should burn A soldiers welcome upon return I hang my head as if in shame While the Bankers take no blame I am man hear me roar I fight here on foreign land Drafted in but still I stand I storm this beach as bullets fly Bombs cascading from the sky Bullets hitting brothers die The only time a soldier cries I am man hear me roar Voices heard from every where My gun is gripped my eyes are flared While bankers sleep without a care A soldier roars from these nightmares
