Soldiers of Christ

We, Thy soldiers, five in count,
Charge onto the battle field,
Lambs, like are amidst the hounds,
March we, victory to yield.

Dangers, moils and toils are much,
Yet, we step a foot of faith,
Have we nothing but Thy touch
That changeth hearts, with love to bathe.

Our existence matters not
Thou doth dwell within our souls,
What, our skills, are to, but rot?
When powers, true, Thy hands doth hold.

So, as Thou art with us, and
Thy words become our sword and spear,
Fearlessly, we, hand-in-hand
Shall fight and conquer victory dear.

So now this moment, Lord, we pray
Chargeth we with no delay,
Send Thy presence, strength and power
To guide us through this darkened way.
