Solace's Embrace

Moonlit Whisper 10 April 2024 Depth of one's mind
In the midst of desolation, where the earth's wrath does rage, Near the fiery tempest, where volcanic flames engage. Amidst the thunder's chorus, a spectacle unseen, A rare phenomenon, a spiral of light serene. The speaker, steeped in sorrow, his heart heavy with despair, For he has lost a treasure, beyond compare. More precious than diamonds, more valuable than gold, A loss that leaves him shattered, his spirit cold. In the depths of his anguish, he contemplates his end, Thinking of ending it all, to oblivion descend. But as he nears the edge, where darkness looms ahead, A sight unfolds before him, filling him with dread. Volcanic lightning, in a spiral dance of fire, A mesmerizing display, awakening his desire. In the twilight's embrace, with auroras aglow, A kaleidoscope of colors, like a painting's soft tableau. The fire in the sky, a symphony of light, Eclipsing the pain, dispelling the night. The speaker, drawn closer, by the beauty he beholds, His troubled mind, by wonder, gently unfolds. In the dance of the lightning, he sees his lost love's face, In every twist and turn, a memory to trace. The echoes of laughter, the whispers of the past, In the midst of chaos, a moment to last. As he moves closer, to the heart of the storm, His soul begins to stir, his spirit to transform. In the midst of his shadows, he finds a guiding light, Leading him towards peace, banishing the night. And as his final moments, in the brilliance fade away, He finds solace in the beauty, in the light of day. For in the midst of sorrow, in the depths of despair, He found a glimpse of beauty, a moment rare.
