Solace Is Sweet
I find solace in solitude
Cuz I'm misunderstood
I don't mind your voice
It leaves me to rejoice
Quilt me your positivity
You built within me hope
I felt your friendship happily
When these emotions are hard to cope
Remorse was on my mind from the start
Discourse was brewing in my bitter heart
Until you came around to save me
Rescue me from my long lost liberty
I am blind to such callous ways of life
I am unkind to hideous ideas of strife
But, with you around me, I am alive and well
What doesn't kill you makes you survive swell
I gotta say before I disappear today
That my heart is full of dismay, but hey
I'll make it through
With or without you
I'm a crooked man with a crooked smile
Now, I know how to run an extra mile
There's a phone number for you to dial
But, for now, I'm a corrupted file...file…
I gotta say before I go to waste today
That my mind is racing day by day,
Thinking of you badly
And missing you sadly
Quit singing the bitter blues
Quilt me your happy muse
I am awfully sorry for leaving you behind
Stay strong and be brave like your kind
