Solace In Sadness
Broken promises flowing downstream.
And my days feeling overdue,
Hoping this phase is just a dream.
But perhaps, I may find solace in blues.
Maybe the sadness of my soul
Can be anchored to a peaceful shore.
So my feet may walk in shallow waters, and my emotions consoled.
And my head above the waves of life's sorrowful war.
