This is how many young children's scribbling finds its way to refrigerator doors, a gesture of praise, fully undeserved, false as Grimm's fairy tales, but nourishing. Let the lie be white. "a gesture of praise, fully undeserved, false as Grimm's fairy tales, but nourishing." I read this line several times, smiling a bit wider each time. It makes so much sense, especially when you look at my refrigerator door!
