SOFTLY GOODNIGHT
Surrounded tenderness amid
Endless fragrance of love.
Finger fur-soft on eyelid
Smooth as gossamer glove.
Feather kiss light – flows,
Lifts hair like breeze – slows,
Breathes warm on breast -
My true love’s - at rest .
