Soft Showers

tears of heaven gently fall
caressing my soul
sizzling fire wards off the chill

too lazy to rise and shine
sun hides behind dingy clouds
dripping leaves flutter

steady showers soak
moist cheeks of earth ask for more
ribbit ribbit rap delight
