Soft Mornings

Soft mornings quiet reflections
Every stillness magnified
Moving in the preoccupied air
As branches liquid foliage
Melts into the breathless
Tinted luminous hues
Mirroring the eternal stillness
In the distance, across the pond
Red roofs sit atop happy homes
The watching pond reflects features
As gentle men from another time
Painting their solitary story
Silent images captured forever
Crisp mornings their wondrous moments
Purr as cats lying still Even endless time is quiet
In the stillness trees speak Singing the silence of a new morn.
