Sociopaths and Paths

What has happened to you, Sociopath? Where has your heart gone to? Does your food have no flavor, Sociopath? Your eyes no tears? Do sunsets have no color? Thoughts no meaning? Do your rough hands yearn to be held? Your twisted lips miss soft kisses? Do you want to come back in from the cold? Or have you gotten used to the howling chill? Can you be saved? Do you want to be saved? Why have you been forsaken, Sociopath? Why do you drift in the murky land of death? Aah, a living ghost you say? No hall pass to cross over? The silver cord snapped, but the body still lives on? Your condition merciful compared to when you “lived”… Too porous you were, agony, horrible grief of knowing The psychiatrists were all wrong…only describing the shell… But not why. While nobody sheds a tear for you, forsaken one, Especially not yourself… I understand And weep for you
