Society's Dissonance

Society's Dissonance

I hear the sounds of society's dissonance,
Their ability to relate positively and negatively,
I enjoy the praises,
Sunshine fills my day,
Their cloudy dispositions can't have me,
A hello and then a good-bye,
Experiences shared for a while,
Social experiences like a favored patchwork quilt,
Complex all the while simple,
The icing on the cake,
Superficial and sweet,
A filtering of experiences,
Moments sacred and revered,
To be human all the while divine.
