Society

Society at first paints a picture that's pretty,
soon your eyes focus and you see it's gritty.
It's good and it's bad filled with love and hate.
Eons of repetition appear to be the fate.
goodness and love always pushed down,
the hunger for power yearns for the crown.

I think it all depends on what one considers stable.

I enjoyed your poem. It reminds me of how when we are young and innocent everything seems to be grand, but as we get more exposed to life we slowly realize it isn't perfect. The real trick is learning that just because it isn't perfect doesn't mean it is bad. Good read.
