Society

There's always that one tear to hide
Always that broken peace we want to hide
There's always that smile we have to force
Always that little toughness we have to force

Society made us hide
Our feelings
Our emotions
Our identity

We have been told the lie
That we have to impress
We have to be strong
We have to be more

There's something about this world
Something that makes it sad
Something that makes it disturbing
It's something called people

We seem invisible to those we want to love
We seem useless to those we want to help
Society makes life impossible 
Society makes us live a lie
