Social Media

In a world where life
can be so cruel
instead of being part of the problem
don't be that fool

don't tweet that message
so vile and untrue
no one wants to hear the nastiness you spew

These social media platforms
are create a breeding ground
A breeding ground
for hateful opinions
Bullying in a online playground

But you heard it from the papers
So I guess it must be true?
All media outlets tweeting
Waiting for the storm to brew

The Sun, The Daily Mail and more
The media outlets
Pestering families
Banging at the door
No thought for a person
The person in question
You're creating a cycle
A cycle for depression

The 'Story' will always end the same way
A life that's lost
Their final day

So today as we should should
on every other day
be kind, be thoughtful
Nothing nice to say?
Please walk away

Don't be a troll
Don't spread your hate
Don't criticize people
Don't spread that click bait
Don't pick out their faults
Don't share that fake news
Don't follow the lies
Social Media tells you
